DIY- Baking Soda Vase Project

DIY Baking Soda Vase Project

Who wants to try the baking soda vase hack?

This is a great budget friendly wedding boho DIY that has been all over Tik Tok. I take in a lot of inspiration from my travels and Greece certainly was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. I had the pleasure to travel to Greece for one of my very good friends' elopements. Nothing looks more gorgeous than white vases and dried florals. After being inspired and seeing this all over TikTok, I thought I should make my own spin by adding some Luxe B Florals and Palms. I bought most of these vases at a thrift store and wanted to add texture to them. This is an easy trick for taking those vases to the next level!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

1 cup of water-based paint. I bought mine at Michaels.

¼ cup of baking soda

Paintbrush

Vases- I found mine for under $2 at our local thrift store

HOW IT WORKS

1.

STEP 01

Make sure the vases are cleaned and dry before painting.

2.

STEP 02

Mix the paint and baking soda together. It creates a chalk-like mixture and will give texture to the vases. The baking soda really allows it to adhere perfectly.

3.

STEP 03

You may need about 2 coats of paint. Let them dry in between each coat. Make sure they are fully dried and you can add your favourite Bleach White Florals and Palms.

Super easy, a lot of fun, and it adds such a gorgeous element to any design.   I've created this video so that you can check it out!
